No accounts
The tools need no account, no sign-up and no card. There is nothing to cancel because there is nothing to join.
Standing page · the commitment
"Free" is the most abused word in file tools. It usually means a ration: a few jobs a day, a small output, a download that turns into a checkout. This page is the written commitment for what the word means on Benchzy, so the promise can be checked, not just believed. This is a public commitment, in writing, here; if it ever changed, this page would have to change first, in public.
The tools need no account, no sign-up and no card. There is nothing to cancel because there is nothing to join.
There is no counter in any tool. Nothing counts your jobs, so nothing can run out. Do a job twice, or two hundred times; the page does not keep score.
No unit of work is sold here. The price of a job is known before you start: free.
Your output is yours. Nothing of ours is stamped, printed or hidden on it.
The download button is the end of the job, never the start of a checkout. On other sites the price often appears at that exact click; here it is just a download.
Every button on a tool page does the thing its label says. Nothing here is dressed up to look like a download and act like an advert.
Output is made at your file's own size. There is no small free tier and no big paid tier, because there are no tiers.
Your files are processed in your browser and are never sent to us. There is no server here that could receive them.
The aim, stated as a promise
Our promise: every file job in one place. We are growing Benchzy into the biggest toolkit on the web, tool by tool, and the count below is the score.
Counted by the build from the site itself, on the day this page was built. "Biggest" is the aim on this page, not a claim about today; the growth is the point, and every tool that ships moves the score. The tools themselves are listed on the all tools page.
The big sites charge because every job runs on their computers and costs them money, so the job has to be rationed. Benchzy's tools run inside your web browser, on your device. A job here costs this site nothing, so there is nothing to ration. Premium is free here because the work runs on your computer, not ours. The site itself is paid for by ads on the pages; an ad can see which page you are on, and can never see your file, because your file never leaves the page's memory.
The limit is your device, not us. We set no limit on jobs or file counts. Your browser and device set the real ones: very large files can run out of memory, and a small phone is slower than a desktop. When a job cannot run on your device, the tool says so in plain words before or as it starts, and your file is unchanged. A second limit is honest too: pages and programs you have used are saved by your browser, so those tools can open again without a connection; a tool you have never opened still needs one first visit.
The no-upload promise can be watched, live, while a job runs: check it yourself. The engines behind every tool, and their licences, are named on the credits page.
